Dear Parents and Guardians,

Flu season has begun early this year with the h1n1 strain taking front stage. To date, we have had a several students out with the flu and other illnesses. While there is a lot of information on the H1N1 strain, it is important to remember that it is just one of many flu strains that affect people every year.

In order to minimize the effects to our school community, we ask that you do the following:

  • Keep your child home if they have a fever. The child should stay home until 24 hours after the fever has broken.
  • Keep your child home if they have flu like symptoms or aren't feeling good.
  • Use good hand washing practices to help minimize the spread of viruses and germs.

Your understanding and cooperation in keeping our community healthy!

Yours,

Kristy S. Swol, Ed. D.

Principal
