Extracurricular Competitive Sports: 2008-09

Students enjoy a comprehensive competitive extra-curricular sports program. Activities are offered after school and are open to all students in grades 5 through 8. Students begin interscholastic competition on the Junior Varsity and Varsity level. Junior Varsity (grades 5 and 6) and Varisty (grades 7 and 8) sports are Track and Basketball. Varisty only (grades 6, 7, and8) sports are soccer, volleyball (girls only), flag football (boys only), basketball, and cheerleading.
St. John Vianney competes with six other area Catholic schools through the Lower Pinellas Catholic Conference (LPCC). Emphasis and philosophy of the Conference are development, sportsmanship, and fellowship.
St. John’s enjoys a long history of victory!
